How the Foundation Serves Our Nation's Most Severely Wounded Heroes

When our very own Gary Sinise started the Foundation back in 2011, he wanted to make home building a part of the organization, so in 2012, we officially launched our R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) program. Over ten years later, the Foundation is honored to have completed 79 mortgage-free smart-technology homes across the country for our most severely wounded heroes.

Each of these homes represents the love of our donors and supporters, grateful Americans like Gary, who do not forget the cost of freedom. Through our R.I.S.E. program, we're also providing home modifications, mobility devices, and adapted vehicles to our injured, wounded, ill, and/or aging heroes.
