Snowball Express Nashville Adventure An Event To Remember

November 8th, 2022

Nashville Main

Gary Sinise Foundation was honored to host surviving spouses of fallen military heroes at our recent Snowball Express Nashville Adventure event! One of many events we host in honor of those who have lost a loved one in service to our country, our Snowball Express initiative allows us to remind them they are not alone and we do not forget their sacrifices. Each event offers our special guests the opportunity to honor their fallen hero, make new memories, and connect with people who have experienced a similar loss.

The Nashville Adventure began with the ladies meeting and sharing stories of their fallen heroes before kicking up their boots and line-dancing on the rooftop.

Following a night out on the town, these surviving spouses were treated to a "Glam Day” thanks to the gracious generosity of Paul Mitchell Schools. The ladies were pampered with a day of beauty, relaxation, and fun hosted by Paul Mitchell - The School Nashville.

These amazing ladies also got a chance to visit the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Downtown Nashville, where they were treated to a surprise visit by famed Hollywood actor Dennis Quaid who took time to meet with everyone and take photos!

We never forget the courage and bravery of our nation’s fallen heroes who answered the call to serve in defense of freedom, and we never forget their loved ones who live on in their memory. The Walking Hope ceremony was extremely powerful for these surviving spouses as they joined hands and took a moment to remember that they are not alone.

Following the Walking Hope ceremony, the ladies were treated to a tour of the Tennessee Titans Stadium and locker room, where each surviving spouse was presented with custom jerseys bearing the names of their fallen hero.

And last but not least, they enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the Grand Ole Opry, the world-famous home of country music!
