A Truly Memorable Soaring Valor Trip to the National WWII Museum
November 22nd, 2022
The Gary Sinise Foundation was thrilled to host 19 WWII veterans on our latest Soaring Valor trip from Nashville to The National WWII Museum in New Orleans. Everyone in attendance was overwhelmed with gratitude as we honored our nation's WWII veterans with the trip of a lifetime while they shared their rich history.
While departing from the Nashville International Airport, active duty service members
got a chance to meet members of the Greatest Generation while others waved miniature American flags, clapped, cheered, and shouted, "thank you for your service."
These legendary WWII veterans also got the chance to take photos with The Victory Belles while the delightful vocal trio performed music of the 1940s.
This special event was facilitated through the generosity of YOUR donations and with the support of our amazing partner American Airlines. Of the 16 million Americans who served in WWII, less than 400,000 remain with us today. It's critical that we record their history to educate future generations.
