Through our R.I.S.E. programs, we’re helping to ease the stresses faced by the families of America’s wounded heroes. We’re building specially adapted smart homes for our most severely wounded veterans and providing home modifications, mobility devices & adapted vehicles to our injured, wounded, ill, and/or aging heroes.
Our Relief & Resiliency programs are bringing together the children of our fallen to heal through celebration, hosting festivals at military medical centers nationwide, lifting spirits with live concerts, helping wounded heroes heal through mentorship, and supporting families in their times of urgent need.
Our Community Outreach & Education programs are bridging the gap between our defender and civilian communities. We're sending WWII veterans and students to tour The National WWII Museum, recording the Greatest Generation's oral histories, serving hearty meals that show our gratitude, connecting with local veterans through theatre, enlisting ambassadors to educate and inspire communities, and hosting events in an incredible exhibit that encourages service over self.
Our firefighters, police, and EMTs routinely put their own lives at risk by rushing into danger. Too often, these heroes are performing with limited resources. Our First Responders Outreach is providing grants for emergency relief, training, and essential equipment to ensure they perform to the best of their abilities.
Family is not limited by the bonds of blood or name. It’s shaped by the stories we share, the freedoms we cherish, and the nation we love. Family is at the center of all we do at the Gary Sinise Foundation. Our mission is to honor and serve our defenders, veterans, first responders, and always their loved ones who sacrifice alongside them.
While we can never do enough for our nation’s defenders, we can always do a little more. Because that’s what you do for family.
