About The Podcast
Created By Mac Sinise
Mac was Assistant Manager of Education & Outreach for GSF. He was deeply inspired by the mission and loved being hands-on, including managing archives, leading tours, and even sitting in as drummer for the Lt. Dan Band. In 2019, he was diagnosed with Chordoma, a rare form of cancer. Despite his health challenges, he launched the GSF Podcast, producing two episodes. Before he passed away in 2024, Mac released his album, Resurrection & Revival, which is available on vinyl in our shop and on streaming platforms. Proceeds from vinyl sales will benefit our mission.
Hosted By Cristin Bartter
Cristin joined GSF in 2014 with a deep dedication to service from her military upbringing. After the 9/11 attacks, she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Correspondent. Her military journey included missions supporting Operation Enduring Freedom and deployments around the world. With a degree in corporate communications from Belmont University, she continues her service at GSF, inspired by her lifelong friend, Vietnam veteran Robert “Harry” Harrison, whose final words to her, “Do great things,” guide her work every day.
