Hurricane Ian Relief

After Hurricane Ian hit Florida, many different municipalities jumped in to help their brothers and sisters in neighboring communities. Several members of the Tampa Police Department traveled south to hard hit North Port, FL to assist in rescues, clean up, and rebuilding efforts. Two shifts from both municipalities were working throughout their community and often did not overlap. The last night Tampa PD was in North Port, GSF was able to provide a meal to these heroes- officers from both day and night shift from both departments came together to share a meal through the Gary Sinise Foundation Serving Heroes program.
