Larry Kayne
Larry served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force before continuing his career in the Aerospace and Simulation Industry. Larry has 25+ years of C-Level experience in both the Modeling & Simulation and Serious Games industries; with the last 14-years of his career focusing on Healthcare Simulation.
Originally from California, Larry graduated from California Coast University, earning his bachelor’s degree in management. After serving several years in the USAF, Larry also served as a President and Chief Operating Officer of a Fortune 500 company in Orlando Florida. Here, he led the executive team in developing key strategic plans fulfilling the company’s mission for profitability while simultaneously managing growth and maintaining client loyalty and relationships. He has extensive insight and technical expertise in business operations including a proven and disciplined record of driving growth without losing site of the needs of the customer.
He specializes in delivering customized training solutions for health care, defense, education, and emergency/government services, combining sophisticated and emerging technologies - such as immersive virtual worlds (VR/AR/MR/XR) and serious gaming – with well-established principles of human performance training, to address each client’s specific need.
In 2015, Larry was recognized as a COO Honoree in the Small Company Category by the Orlando Business Journal. Outside of work and GSF, Larry also serves as Vice-Commander for his hometown American Legion Memorial Post 243.
