Nick Nguyen

Nick Nguyen is a first-generation immigrant who’s family came to the United States during the Vietnam War. Nick inherited a legacy of service from his parents. His mother was a civilian translator for the South Vietnamese army and US military, and his father served in the South Vietnamese Army, Navy, and later US Navy. 

Nick is a proud alumnus of the University of California, Riverside, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Despite this technical training, Nick was drawn to public service and signed up to become a police officer. He has served in this role for over 18 years and is a director on his department’s officers association. 

Nick also co-founded his own non-profit charity with his wife to support first responders and their families in times of need.  He enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures in his free time.
