Sarah Bowen

Sarah Bowen served twenty years in the U.S. Navy, beginning as a nuclear trained Surface Warfare Officer (SWO(N)) and then transitioning to space systems engineering and acquisitions as an Engineering Duty Officer (EDO). She earned a Master of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Following her military service, Sarah continues to work in the defense industry as a program manager and systems engineer. Sarah is also an adjunct professor at the USD Knauss School of Business, where she teaches courses in Business Analytics and Operations Management. She volunteers her time with the National Defense Industry Association (NDIA) and various veteran support organizations.

Sarah is a native of Ithaca, MI and currently resides in San Marcos, CA with her two young sons. She spends her free time mountain biking and practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu.
