Sarah Hollis
Sarah serves as the Vice President of Philanthropy for the Gary Sinise Foundation, securing vital funding to support veteran and first responder programs, as well as overseeing all donor stewardship efforts.
Since 2015, Sarah served as the Senior Vice-President of Engagement for Palmer Home for Children managing all aspects of development, marketing, communications, and community outreach. She and her team were charged with creating awareness, engaging the public and ultimately securing philanthropic support to ensure the care for 250 children annually.
Sarah served the University of Mississippi for nine years, initially as the lead fundraiser for the School of Pharmacy and later she was promoted to manage a team of development officers raising private dollars to advance academics. Additionally, she oversaw the Ole Miss Women’s Council for Philanthropy.
From 1998-2006, Sarah worked in the healthcare field as Director of Marketing and Physician Services for Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.
Sarah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a master’s degree in journalism and earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations/marketing from the University of Alabama.
A native of Oxford, Mississippi, Sarah is the daughter of Bill and Lynn Sloan and is married to Jeffrey Hollis of Dothan, Alabama. She enjoys long-distance running, hiking and boating, but her greatest joy in life is being a mother to her sons Hayes (13) and Sloan (10).
