"When serving in the military during the Vietnam War, many people in our country didn't always welcome us home. That has always stayed with me. In 2011, I heard Gary on the radio talking about our current service members serving in the military. At that time, we were fighting terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan. I was fortunate to meet Gary; we started forming a close relationship. I knew Gary was sincere, honest and driven, and a person I could trust. A year later, he asked me to serve on his Board at the Gary Sinise Foundation. Its been an honor to do so. I serve quietly and with great humility. It's always been my belief to give the best you can and to be benevolent. I am so proud of the good we have done to help our service members, first responders, and our veteran community."
