Sarah serves as the Vice President of Philanthropy for the Gary Sinise Foundation, securing vital funding to support veteran and first responder programs.

Sarah’s family ties to military service spans three generations, starting with her great-grandfather’s leadership in both WWII and the Korean War as a colonel in the Army, her grandfather’s service in the Navy, and her father’s enlistment in the Army National Guard.

Prior to the Foundation, Sarah’s career spanned various non-profit sectors beginning with marketing and community outreach for the Baptist Memorial Health Care system. Sarah was later tapped as Associate Director of University Development at the University of Mississippi and led the Ole Miss Women’s Council for Philanthropy. Finally, Sarah served as the Senior Vice-President of Engagement for Palmer Home for Children managing all aspects of development, marketing, communications, and community outreach.

Sarah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations/Marketing from the University of Alabama and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi with a Master’s degree in Journalism.

Sarah enjoys hiking, boating and kayaking, but her greatest joy in life is being a mother to her sons.
