Tom joined the Gary Sinise Foundation in July 2024 and serves as the Director of Finance. A seasoned financial executive, he previously held CFO roles with residential home builders in Middle Tennessee and along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. His career reflects a deep commitment to financial stewardship, operational excellence, and mission-driven leadership.

A native of Ironton, Ohio, Tom began his journey at The Ohio State University as a baseball walk-on before enlisting in the United States Army. His service included assignments at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and Seoul, Korea. He was awarded a Green to Gold ROTC scholarship and attended Austin Peay State University. He graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and received the prestigious George C. Marshall Award as a senior.

Commissioned as a Finance Officer, Tom served again at Fort Campbell and deployed to Somalia in support of Operation Continue Hope. He later built a distinguished civilian career, becoming both a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is an active member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, bringing decades of expertise in process improvement and high quality financial reporting.

Outside of his professional work, Tom is an avid runner who has completed more than 30 half marathons. He enjoys following the Cincinnati Reds, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Tennessee Titans. Tom lives in Clarksville, Tennessee, with his wife, Susan. They have two children: Carter, a firefighter, and Shelby, a registered nurse. He is proud to bring his experience and passion for service to support the mission of the Gary Sinise Foundation.
