GSF Programs Updates - Volume I, Edition II

Tyndall Airmen sustained with Hurricane Sally relief event

TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE

GSF provided monetary support to this installation to provide opportunities for Service Members and their families to bond and boost morale. Investing in both assets of military life helps strengthen bonds, communication and reminds us to have fun once in awhile!

GSF PRESENTS THE "GOLDEN TICKET"

Golden tickets are dispersed amongst all United States military installations in honor and recognition of the spouses who support the men and women who fight for our freedoms. The golden ticket winners receive an heirloom item from R. Riveter, a company run by military spouses, that creates hand-made items made from service uniforms worn by the winner's service member.

Resources

Thank you so much to the Gary Sinise Foundation for affording me this opportunity. I am so grateful, my best friend Lisa, heard about your organization and put me in for the grant. I now have peace of mind knowing my furnace will not fail on me.

Kindness

Local connectedness efforts have been the major focus over the past 2 years post epidemic. With these resources we will be able to drive stronger connections and build upon them with unifying community efforts through recreational activities. Thanks to everyone from Air Gordon that assisted with approving these recreational sports items for us.

Hope

I just can't thank you and everyone at the Gary Sinise foundation enough for helping my family and I out. It is so nice to be able to shower and not bathe out of a bucket and it is nice to flush our toilets again. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!
