Florida Chapter
The Gary Sinise Foundation Florida Chapter provides critical support to our nation's defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need within our local communities.
About the Chapter
Launched in August 2020, the Gary Sinise Foundation Florida Chapter was the first of many chapters that will extend the philanthropy of our Founder and Chairman, Gary Sinise, and the footprint of the Gary Sinise Foundation.
Florida is home to the third-largest veteran population in the country, with more than 1.5 million retired service members. In Florida, its counties include nearly 1 million veterans.
The Florida Chapter, like those to come in other regions across the country, complements the efforts of the Gary Sinise Foundation, catalyzing a greater impact in the lives of our nation's heroes and their families.

Hurricane Ian Relief
After Hurricane Ian hit Florida, many different municipalities jumped in to help their brothers and sisters in neighboring communities. Several members of the Tampa Police Department traveled south to hard hit North Port, FL to assist in rescues, clean up, and rebuilding efforts.
"With our very first chapter in Orlando, we are excited to extend our impact at a regional level. Serving, honoring, and raising the spirits of our nation's defenders and their families is the heartbeat of everything we do at the Foundation. By enlisting the support of communities across the country, particularly where future regional chapters may be located, we'll be able to expand our outreach even further."
