A big thank you to the roughly 4,000 people who joined us in Thousand Oaks at the Concert for Defenders to support our first responders and Borderline families. Concert goers enjoyed music from the Lt. Dan Band and Grammy-nominated Five for Fighting. They were also treated to a fly over from the Condor Squadron and a performance from Pipes and Drums of California Professional Firefighters

The concert, which is part of the Gary Sinise Foundation's Relief & Resiliency program (one of the four pillars of our programmatic work), is one of the many ways in which the Gary Sinise Foundation serves and honors our nation’s first responders. The Gary Sinise Foundation’s First Responder Outreach program, generously supported by Verizon, ensures the heroes right down the block – our firefighters, police and EMTs – are able to perform to the best of their abilities.
